1. What is naturopathic medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic, science-based approach to healthcare that focuses on treating the whole person mind, body, and spirit while identifying and addressing the root cause of illness, not just the symptoms.

It combines the best of modern diagnostics with natural therapies like:

  • Herbal medicine
  • Homeopathy
  • Nutrition & lifestyle changes
  • Functional lab testing
  • Mind-body support
  • Vitamin and mineral supplementation

The goal is to restore balance, support your body’s natural healing ability, and create long-term wellness not temporary fixes.

2. What is a naturopathic doctor?

A naturopathic doctor (ND) is a trained medical professional who attends a 4-year, accredited naturopathic medical school. Our training includes biomedical sciences (like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology), clinical diagnostics, and a deep focus on natural therapies.

We:

  • Spend more time with patients
  • Ask deeper questions to understand the full picture
  • Use labs, physical exams, and natural treatment options
  • Create individualized plans rooted in why symptoms are happening

I also specialize in women’s and children’s health because I believe when we support mothers and kids, we build healthier families and stronger futures.

3. Do you accept insurance?

We don’t accept insurance at this time, but many of our patients are able to use their HSA or FSA to cover the cost of visits, lab testing, and supplements. Just check with your provider to confirm what’s covered.

5. What’s the difference between naturopathic care and conventional medicine?

Naturopathic care focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of illness not just masking symptoms. We use longer visits, deeper assessments, and natural therapies that support your body’s healing ability. You won’t be rushed or ignored here. You’ll feel seen, heard, and supported.

6. How do I get started?

You can start by booking an Initial Consultation or a free 15-minute discovery call to learn more. Check out our Appointments page to explore your options.

7. What types of health concerns do you treat?

For women: I specialize in women’s health (PCOS, period problems, mood swings, postpartum shifts, fatigue, thyroid concerns, general wellness etc.)
For children: I work with skin issues (eczema, rashes), digestive struggles, immunity, sleep, and behavioral and overall wellness.

If you’ve been told “it’s normal,” but it doesn’t feel normal I’m here for that.

8. Do you offer lab testing?

Yes. I offer both standard and specialty labs, including hormone testing, thyroid panels, gut health, food sensitivities, nutrient testing, and more. Lab recommendations are personalized based on your symptoms and goals.

9. Can I work with you if I live outside of Georgia?

Yes! Virtual visits are available to clients in many states.

10. Do you work with children?

Absolutely. I love working with little ones and their families. My approach is gentle, thorough, and child-friendly whether we’re addressing eczema, digestion, sleep issues, or behavioral concerns. You’ll feel empowered and supported every step of the way.

11. Will I need to take a lot of supplements?

Not here. My philosophy is “less, is best.” I only recommend supplements that are necessary and clinically supportive based on your case. No overwhelming regimens or medicine cabinets full of things you don’t need.

12. How often will we meet?

This depends on your package and needs. Most clients start with monthly visits, with more frequent check-ins as needed. I also offer support between visits to help you stay on track and feel confident in your care.
